Doctoral Program in Life Science Innovation
(Cross-disciplinary degree programs in which each course belongs to its own degree program)

In this program, private companies belonging to the Tsukuba Life Science Promotion Council and research institutes of incorporated administrative agencies collaborate to plan lessons and actively participate in the research and education of students. Utilizing the wisdom in Tsukuba Science City, the program crosses universities, industry, and incorporated administrative agencies. By doing so, we aim for students to have a cross-disciplinary perspective and to acquire the ability to comprehensively judge and collaborate with the respective ideas and roles of the industry, academia and government.

  • The Early Completion Program is not available in the January-February admissions period, so applicants for the Life Innovation Degree Program must take the August admissions period.
